My overall goal is to help cities and states grow their economies, attract quality jobs, and market their regions so families can prosper.
After leaving the corporate world, which included leadership roles with a Fortune 200 company, C.H. Robinson, I became a rural economic developer with the State of New Mexico and later as vice president of economic development for the largest tri-state region and bi-national community in the western hemisphere along Texas and New Mexico.
As an economic development executive for the 5th largest manufacturing hub in North America, I quickly realized an incredible need to use the most cutting edge sales and marketing strategies with the best technology to attract the best projects for job creation.
As a result, I spent years researching and discovering the actions, tools, and programs needed to succeed as one of the best economic developers in Texas.
I now share that guidance with other emerging economic development executives and city leaders so they can scale their business recruitment and attraction efforts without sacrificing their budget and wasting time.
I also serve expanding companies as a site selector and location advisor at BCI Global.
Additionally, I have advised other communities where I travel across the country meeting with economic development teams to share best practices and insight on the best ways to target, engage, and compete at the highest levels for projects.
Outside of that, I’m usually playing with my three kiddos, running, or cooking amazing seafood.
